Welcome. The BCF fellowship is for Baptist Chaplains in New South Wales. Various meetings are held during the year. A Retreat for Chaplains and their spouses is planned for May each year.

Outcomes of March 2005 Get Together
Outcomes of the Baptist Chaplains Fellowship March 2005 Meeting
On Friday 4th March members of BCS gathered at the Robertson Centre at Carlingford for the quarterly meeting. The guest speaker for the occasion was Sister Nancy King from the Marsfield Centre for Aged Care. Nancy is well-known at Marsfield for her conscientious and compassionate performance of her work as an aged care registered nurse. She shared the nature, stresses and pleasures of her job in caring for the aged. She gave recognition to the work of chaplains in the delivery of care to clients.
The meeting also had a presentation by one of the members on basic psychology and some mental health issues including depression, bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. A booklet of notes accompanied the presentation. Following the addresses members enjoyed a meal and a time of fellowship.

Bob Hooper, minister at Ettalong is to be the speaker at our retreat. Kerry is working on this and there should be some details shortly.
News
John Reading has been appointed to the position of Chaplain at B.C.S. Aged Care Facility at Aminya and will commence on the 4th of May 2005.
